Episode 27: Contact

Episode 27: In Which Contact is Made (6.15.2020)

I swear that I wrote all these little snipes long before the protests…they still hold true, but like…this wasn’t preplanned or timed. I wrote this in October/November. I’m not try hard enough to try to make timely comments on society…I just write things that apparently ring true throughout time because humans are silly little creatures that love repetition.

Humans are silly little creatures that love repetition.

Silly little creatures that love repetition.

Anyway, SAWA has returned! It seems she’s become an unintentional fan favorite, which is sweet, but she was never intended to be a big part of the story. She serves many important purposes and she is well loved, by Nova in particular, but I’ve always worried that overusing her would go the way of Jar-Jar.

So many comedic characters these days would benefit from less screen-time (thousand yard stare, distant sounds of Olaf from the first Frozen movie, Nihilistic Olaf and I would get on great). I don’t have much to say other than “F.B.I. warrant, open up” is now very high on my list of unpleasant ways to be woken up. However, it is a 100% efficient form of wake-up call, provided you are unfortunate enough to be near a house that’s to be SWATTED.

Ever hear your heart actively try to escape your chest?

Anyway, struggle this week? My goddamn printer won’t recognize my laptop, so I’m freestyling the sfx because I’m too lazy to write the whole thing out anymore! Like…damn, I had a system going and the printer decides to throw a tantrum. Also I spent 5 minutes listening to people switching through radio stations for this.

I make no money doing this.

I listened to 5 minutes of radio static and changes…for self satisfaction.

Hope everyone is doing better than last week,
