The nature of scripts

Writing is a lot of fun. It’s easy to make characters feel eloquent and well-prepared for a verbal volley. You will notice that many times, people in InCo fall short or fall on their face, get cut off, or insulted with no quick remark. They very rarely monologue.

This does not mean that monologues were not written in, and that these responses don’t exist, it’s just that more often than not they’re cut out, because the truth is, we just don’t speak the way we write.

These scripts will not necessarily perfectly reflect the end product, but they will follow the overall arc of the episode.
